NBI Clearance Application
- Schedule a visit to the Embassy by booking an appointment at
bit.ly/consular-appointment; - On his appointment day, the applicant shall proceed to the Embassy for fingerprinting. The applicant shall accomplish the NBI Clearance Application Form and attach his recent 2×2 ID photo with white background;
- The Embassy will notarize the NBI Clearance Application Form;
- The applicant should also execute a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) for his representative who will process the filing of the application with the NBI office in the Philippines;
- The applicant should send the Embassy-notarized NBI Clearance Application Form and SPA to his representative in the Philippines;
- The representative should submit the NBI Clearance Application Form to any NBI office for the issuance of NBI Clearance. Upon release of the NBI clearance, the designated representative should bring the NBI clearance to any DFA office offering Apostille services; and
- The representative should send the NBI clearance with Apostille to the applicant or its intended destination. Translation into Spanish language will depend on the requirement of the requesting office/agency.
Note: For renewal of NBI Clearance, the applicant may directly apply through the National Bureau of Investigation’s website at https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph if the old NBI Clearance was issued from 2014 to the present.
