ACKNOWLEDGMENT
An Acknowledgement is the act by which a person who has executed the instrument goes before a competent officer and declares it to be his true and voluntary act and deed.
Examples of Documents:
- Special Power of Attorney / Revocation of Power of Attorney
- Letter of Invitation
- Authorization Letter
- Contracts / Deeds, among others.
Requirements:
- Personal appearance of the person signing the document. Documents must be signed at the Embassy
- Original document must be presented
- Present original passport or any valid ID
Fees:
Regular processing (release the following day) | US$ 25.00 each (or its equivalent amount in COP based on current Embassy exchange rate) |
Expedited processing fee (release in the afternoon of the day of filing) | Additional US$ 10.00 each (or its equivalent amount in COP based on current Embassy exchange rate) |
