VISA
A visa is an endorsement made on a passport or travel document by the Philippine Embassy denoting that the traveler’s visa application has been properly examined and that the holder is permitted to proceed to the Philippines. However, the visa issued is not a guarantee that the holder will be admitted into the country. The admission of foreign nationals is a function of the Philippine Bureau of Immigration (www.immigration.gov.ph) at the port of entry.
Steps:
- Initial Submission (via Email)
Visa applicants must first submit scanned copies of the basic requirements and any additional documents (depending on the visa type) to the Embassy via email for evaluation.
- In-Person Submission (by Appointment)
Once the Embassy finds the emailed documents to be in order, the visa applicant will be notified and required to:
- Submit the original documents to the Embassy (with a pre-booked appointment at bit.ly/consular-appointment).
- Pay the corresponding visa fees at the Embassy.
Required Documents:
The applicant will need to submit the following documents both via email (for initial evaluation) and in person (once advised):
- Passport/Travel Document: Must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended period of stay in the Philippines;
- Visa Application Form: Completely filled out;
- Tickets or Flight Reservation: Proof of both entry and exit;
- Proof of Financial Capacity (any of the following):
- Bank statements from the last six (6) months or proof of tax payments

Note: The Embassy may require additional documents from the applicant depending on the type of visa applied.
