Bogota, 27 August 2026 – Mr. Adrian Bernie Candolada, Philippine Ambassador to Ecuador based in Bogota, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Maria José Pinto Gonzalez-Artigas of Ecuador in the capital city of Quito on 27 August 2026.

 

Vice President Pinto gave Ambassador Candolada an overview of her policy coordination work involving early childhood care, the fight against child malnutrition, the promotion of mental well-being and protection against cybercrime.

 

Her program also includes closing the gender gap and promoting indigenous identities and their economic development.

 

Ambassador Candolada congratulated Vice President Pinto for her strong advocacy on women and children— vulnerable sectors that, he said, are also the focus of the social welfare and protection programs of the Philippine government. -END-
