Bogota D.C., Colombia, 20 August 2026-  The 2019 blockbuster Filipino romantic drama, Hello, Love, Goodbye, received praise at its first screening held at the Centro Ático Auditorium of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota D.C., Colombia on 21 August 2026.  

The viewers were mostly friends of the Philippine Embassy, including members of academic and business groups, the Filipino community, the diplomatic academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Indonesian Embassy in Bogota and university students.   

The film’s theme around migration, romance, personal sacrifices, homesickness, and family obligations reflected parallel experiences in the Philippines and Colombia, as both countries have large numbers of workers overseas. 

Both countries are commemorating the 80th anniversary of their diplomatic relations this year. 

The film screening was part of the ASEAN Day celebration organized by the Philippine Embassy in Colombia this year. 

Hello, Love, Goodbye is one of the highest grossing Filipino films. END
