In solidarity with refugees, forcibly displaced persons, and stateless individuals, Bogota PE personnel led by Ambassador Adrian Bernie C. Candolada celebrated the 2026 National Refugee Day during the flag raising ceremony on 22 June 2026.

The event included the reading of the message of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and the screening of a commemorative video to highlight the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention and the 45th anniversary of the Philippines’ accession to it.
